The 10kV SCB11 epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer is a mature, high-reliability power distribution solution with a complete capacity range from 50kVA to 5000kVA. Designed and manufactured in accordance with IEC60076 and GB1094 international electrical standards, this series serves as a classic energy-saving upgrade over traditional SCB10 transformers, featuring lower no-load loss, stable performance and excellent cost-effectiveness. With a standard primary voltage of 10kV and secondary voltage of 0.4kV, the transformer supports customized voltage ratios and tapping configurations to meet various industrial, commercial and municipal power grid requirements.
Adopting full vacuum epoxy resin casting technology, the SCB11 dry-type transformer features a completely oil-free structure, which eliminates common risks such as oil leakage, fire hazards and explosion hidden in oil-immersed transformers. The transformer core is fabricated from high-quality grain-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel sheets with multi-step miter lap cutting technology. The optimized magnetic circuit structure effectively reduces no-load loss, no-load current and operating noise, ensuring more energy-efficient and quieter operation compared with older-generation dry-type transformers. The core surface is coated with anti-rust insulating paint to enhance durability and long-term operational stability.
Both high-voltage and low-voltage windings are made of high-purity oxygen-free copper to guarantee excellent conductivity and low power loss. The 10kV high-voltage winding is integrally cast with high-temperature resistant epoxy resin under vacuum conditions, forming a compact, seamless insulation structure with extremely low partial discharge, strong moisture-proof, dust-proof and anti-aging performance. Small-capacity low-voltage coils adopt copper wire winding, while large-capacity models use copper foil winding to ensure uniform current distribution, minimize eddy current loss and significantly improve short-circuit withstand capacity. The whole transformer adopts F-class insulation system, allowing stable operation under high ambient temperature and extending equipment service life.
The SCB11 transformer is equipped with a built-in PT100 temperature sensor and intelligent temperature controller, which realizes real-time temperature monitoring, automatic fan start-stop, over-temperature alarm and overheat protection. It supports dual cooling modes of natural air cooling (AN) and forced air cooling (AF), enabling temporary overload operation when needed. Optional IP20 and IP23 protection enclosures effectively prevent accidental contact and foreign object entry, greatly improving on-site operation safety.
Thanks to its flame-retardant, explosion-proof, pollution-free and low-maintenance characteristics, the SCB11 dry-type transformer is highly adaptable to humid, dusty and mildly corrosive working environments. It requires no oil replacement or regular oil maintenance, greatly reducing operational and maintenance costs for end users.
